Dentures

Dentures are prosthetic that replaces your missing teeth. There are Partial and Full Dentures depending on each individual case. Full dentures are used when all the teeth are removed. The immediate full dentures are given to patients the same day as extraction, so they never go without teeth. Conventional Full Dentures are then given to patients after a healing period so the gum tissue and bone can remodel to a more stable condition.

Partial Dentures are another type of dentures when not all of the teeth need to be extracted, it only replaces the missing teeth using your natural teeth as a base and anchor.

Each case is unique to you and we work with your life circumstances to get the best plan that will fit with your needs.

Dentures are removable, meaning that you should remove them every night and clean them. They may take some time to get used to, and they may need some adjustment as your tissue may change over the time. Wearing dentures is just like riding a bicycle. It requires some learning and over time the mouth will feel more comfortable.
